Or it can be that the child is secretly adopted, so both paper trail parents are not the bio parents. In more recent times we can have egg donation which means the mother may not have given her DNA to the child but still could have birthed it.

2) Your initial conclusion based on Elaine and Bonnie not matching is that one of them had a different father from what was expected. But it also could have been that one of the fathers was secretly adopted.Cyndihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10552296864693393306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6223435721248605051.post-30708719485886140772017-11-22T08:35:31.333+02:002017-11-22T08:35:31.333+02:00Most people? However, I believe a vast majority still either prefers the original NPE definition or has not heard of the new proposed one yet.hallwalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09832585789409922602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6223435721248605051.post-16171775077055695092017-11-22T06:29:28.071+02:002017-11-22T06:29:28.071+02:00Most people now prefer NPE to mean: "Not the ...Most people now prefer NPE to mean: "Not the Parent Expected" as coined by Emily Aulicino in her book "Genetic Genealogy"Louis Kesslerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11704667321407909489noreply@blogger.com
